Welcome to OHDELA Student Council's Wikidot

This site was created to display the work of OHDELA Student Council. The contents of these pages are open for the public to view, but are edited and maintained by the members of OHDELA Student Council and their Adviser(s).

OHDELA Student Council maintains a charter through The National Association of Student Councils and the Ohio Association of Student Councils.

The goal of OHDELA Student Council is to foster and teach leadership and civic responsibility in the students of OHDELA. Student Council membership is voluntary and officers are voted upon by the student body of OHDELA. All members of OHDELA Student Council are encouraged to create and build a Leadership Portfolio that addresses five key qualities of leadership, Communication, Collaboration, Commitment, Character and Civic Responsibility. Portfolios display each member's view of the importance of each quality as well as pieces of personal evidence each member has collected or created to show their development of each quality.

In the upcoming 2011-2012 school year the OHDELA Student Council has set two major goals: to earn the following awards with OASC:

Honor Council Award
Army of Volunteers Award (to be earned by at least two individual members)
